The Rail
In 2008, owner Mike Mariola and his wife, Emily, opened their first steakhouse (The City Square Steakhouse) in Wooster, Ohio. From the success of the steakhouse bar menu at that restaurant, The Rail was born in 2011. The overall encompassing theme at these restaurants is that most items on the menu are locally sourced in Ohio. 100% of the beef used at The Rail restaurants comes from local farms. The well-balanced menu also features local chicken, local dairy products, draft beers born and brewed in Ohio and craft cocktails with spirits from local distilleries. In 2013, Fred Olivieri Construction Company, a restaurant contractor, built The Rail in Canton, Ohio; this was the beginning of our continuous relationship with Mike. We have since been his go-to contractor for restaurants, building additional locations in Akron, Strongsville, Dublin, and Grandview Heights. Each of The Rail restaurants has its own unique design touches and finishes. It’s exciting watching everything come together as the project moves toward completion.
