New Branch Projects by Local Building Contractor

In 2019, the Stark County District Library was looking to re-establish a new library for the Jackson Township area to complement the adjacent park complex and amphitheater. Fred Olivieri Construction Company understood the impact that this state-of-the-art building and learning center would have on the community, so we began the public bidding process. As the winning bids announced, we were thrilled to find out we were selected as the local building contractor to bring this facility to Jackson Township. The new 10,500 square foot library was design for comfortable and flexible spaces, spacious open areas, meeting rooms, enclosed study rooms, and a multi-purpose room for programing and children’s events. Enhanced audio-visual technology provides digital resources for the guests and patrons. The new library is a great place to help foster reading and learning for all residents and students.

Shortly after construction began at the Jackson Township branch, the Stark County District Library announced their need for construction management services to re-brand other libraries within the district. Fred Olivieri Construction Company, the local building contractor, was fortunate to have the winning bid again for these projects. The new Reimagine program was a mission and vision to renovate existing buildings, upgrade technology, and create flexible spaces for different uses. The branch enhancements included new interior finishes, energy efficient lighting, improved ADA compliance, security improvements, interactive touch screen catalogs, and study rooms. The program created a learning environment to meet the need of the community and patrons they serve. Fred Olivieri Construction completed projects for library at the North, DeHoff, Lake, Sippo, East Canton, Jackson, Madge Youtz, Plain, and Southgate Branches.
