Vineyard Vines

Founded in 1998 in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, by brothers Shep and Ian Murray. Their business started out very small, with the brothers selling four different styles of neckties from their boat or out of their Jeep. After selling over 800 ties in a single weekend, they decided it was time to move into a new office. From here, the philosophy of living the good life was born, and the Vineyard Vines slogan “every day should feel this good” came to be. The company now operates more than 100 stores, and the brand is sold by over 600 other retailers. Fred Olivieri Construction has had the privilege to work with Vineyard Vines since 2014. Building for this client is an adventure – among many of the unique themes in the stores is a cash wrap that is built to look like the stern of a deep sea fishing boat.
